Article 1 – About our Privacy Policy
Brickstickershop cares greatly about your privacy. We therefore process only the data that we need for (improving) our services and we handle the information we have collected about you and your use of our services with great care. We never make your data available to third parties for commercial purposes.
This privacy policy applies to the use of the website and the services provided via the website of Brickstickershop. The effective date of these conditions is 23/05/2018; with the publication of a new version, the validity of all previous versions expires. This privacy policy describes what data about you is collected by us, what this data is used for, and with whom and under which conditions this data may be shared with third parties. We also explain how we store your data, how we protect your data against misuse, and what rights you have regarding the personal data you have provided to us.

Article 2 – About Data Processing
Below you can read how we process your data, where we store it, what security techniques we use, and who can access the data.
Article 3 – Webshop Software (CCVshop)
Our webshop is developed using CCVshop software. Personal data that you provide to us in the context of your orders or communication is shared with this party. CCVshop has access to your data solely to offer us (technical) support; they will never use your data for any other purpose. CCVshop is obliged, under the agreement we have with them, to take adequate security measures. These measures include SSL encryption and a strong password policy.
CCVshop uses cookies to collect technical information regarding your use of the software, but no personal data is collected and/or stored. CCVshop reserves the right to share collected data within its own corporate group to further improve its services.
Article 4 – Web Hosting (CCVshop)
We use CCVshop for our web hosting and email services. CCVshop processes personal data on our behalf and does not use your data for its own purposes. However, this party may collect metadata regarding the use of the services—these are not personal data. CCVshop has taken technical and organisational measures to prevent misuse and unauthorised access to your personal data. CCVshop is obligated to confidentiality under our agreement.
Article 5 – Email and Mailing Lists (CCVshop)
For our regular business email traffic, we use the services of CCVshop. This party has taken suitable technical and organisational measures to prevent misuse, loss, and corruption of your and our data as much as possible. CCVshop does not have access to our mailbox, and we treat all our email communications confidentially.
Article 6 – Payment Methods (CCVpay)
To process payments in our webshop, we use the CCVpay platform. CCVpay processes your name, address, city details, and your payment information such as bank account or credit card number. CCVpay has taken adequate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data. CCVpay reserves the right to use your data to further improve its services and may share (anonymised) data with third parties for this purpose.
If you request deferred payment (a credit facility), CCVpay may share personal data and financial information with credit rating agencies. All safeguards mentioned above regarding the protection of your personal data also apply to the parts of CCVpay’s services for which they engage third parties. CCVpay will not store your data longer than legally permitted.
Article 7 – Reviews (WebwinkelKeur)
We collect reviews through the WebwinkelKeur platform. If you leave a review via WebwinkelKeur, you are required to provide your name and email address. WebwinkelKeur shares this information with us so that we can link the review to your order. WebwinkelKeur also publishes your name on its own website. In some cases, WebwinkelKeur may contact you to request clarification about your review.
If we invite you to leave a review, we will share your name and email address with WebwinkelKeur. They use this information solely for the purpose of inviting you to leave a review. WebwinkelKeur has taken adequate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data. WebwinkelKeur reserves the right to engage third parties for the provision of its services. All safeguards described above also apply to the parts of the service for which WebwinkelKeur uses third parties.
Article 8 – Shipping and Logistics (PostNL)
When you place an order with us, it is our responsibility to deliver the order to you. We use the services of PostNL for the execution of deliveries. For this purpose, it is necessary that we share your name, address, and city details with PostNL. PostNL uses this information solely to fulfil the delivery agreement. If PostNL engages subcontractors, they may also be provided with your information.
Article 9 – Invoicing and Accounting (Yuki Accounting Software)
For maintaining our administration and accounting, we use Yuki accounting software and the services of an Administration and Tax Consultant (OAMKB Westland & Woldendorp, Arnhem). We share your name, address, city details, and order information. This data is used to administer sales invoices. Your personal data is transmitted and stored securely. Yuki and our accountant are bound by confidentiality and will treat your data confidentially. They will not use your data for purposes other than those described above.
Article 10 – Purpose of Data Processing
We use your data exclusively to provide our services. This means that the purpose of processing is always directly related to the assignment you give us. We do not use your data for targeted marketing. If you share data with us and we later wish to contact you for a reason not directly related to your request, we will ask for your explicit permission. Your data is not shared with third parties except to comply with accounting or administrative obligations. These third parties are all bound to confidentiality under our agreement or a legal obligation.
Article 11 – Automatically Collected Data
Data automatically collected by our website (e.g., your IP address, the web browser you use, or your operating system) is processed solely for the purpose of improving our services. These data are not personal data.
Article 12 – Cooperation in Tax or Criminal Investigations
In certain cases, Brickstickershop may be legally obligated to share your data in connection with tax or criminal investigations conducted by government authorities. In such cases, we are compelled to share your data but will resist this within the limits of the law.
Article 13 – Retention Periods
We retain your data for as long as you remain our customer. This means that we store your customer profile until you inform us that you no longer wish to use our services. When you make such a request, we will treat it as a request to be forgotten.
Due to administrative obligations, we must store invoices containing your (personal) data for as long as the applicable legal retention period requires. However, our employees will no longer have access to your customer profile or documents created in connection with your order once you are no longer our customer.
Article 14 – Your Rights
Under applicable Dutch and European legislation, you as a data subject have certain rights regarding your personal data processed by us or on our behalf. We explain below which rights these are and how you can exercise them.
Right of Access
You have the right at any time to view the data we process that relates to you or can be traced back to you. You may submit such a request to our privacy contact person. You will receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send you a copy of all data relating to you to the email address known to us, along with a list of processors who have access to the data.
Right to Rectification
You have the right to have your personal data corrected. You may submit a request to our privacy contact person. If granted, you will receive confirmation within 30 days at the email address known to us.
Right to Restriction of Processing
You have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data. If your request is granted, we will confirm to you at the email address known to us that the data will no longer be processed until you lift the restriction.
Right to Data Portability
You have the right to have the personal data we process transferred to another party. If your request is granted, we will send you copies or transcripts of all data processed about you. In such a case, it is likely that we will no longer be able to continue providing services to you.
Right to Object and Other Rights
You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data by Brickstickershop. If you object, we will immediately cease processing your data until your objection has been assessed. If your objection is justified, we will permanently discontinue processing your data and provide you with copies of the processed data.
You also have the right not to be subject to automated decision-making. We do not engage in profiling or automated decision-making. If you believe this is the case, contact our privacy contact person.
Article 15 – Cookies
Google Analytics
Our website places cookies from the American company Google as part of the “Analytics” service. We use this service to track and generate reports on how visitors use our website. Google may be legally obliged to grant access to this data. We have not permitted Google to use the analytics data for other Google services.

If third-party software uses cookies, this will be mentioned in this privacy policy.
Article 16 – Changes to the Privacy Policy
We reserve the right to amend our privacy policy at any time. The most recent version is always available on this page. If the new privacy policy affects how we process previously collected data, we will notify you by email.
